Sub-Types

The Sub-Types area located in the General section of System allows the users to create Sub-Types which can be assigned to a Build Stage within a House Type or a Plot.

A Sub-Type is an additional phase that can be assigned to a Build Stage. It functions as a secondary level where materials and labour items are added.

The Sub-Types area contains a Quick Search which targets the Name.

To create a new Sub-Type, the user must select ‘+ New’ in the top right corner.

The system will then direct the user to the Sub-Type Details page to enter a Name for the Sub-Type.

To Delete a Sub-Type the user must enter the Sub-Type record and select the Delete button in the top right corner. The system will prevent users from deleting Sub-Types that are in use throughout the system.

Deleted Sub-Types are displayed in red within the table, making them easy to identify. Deleted Sub-Types are not available for selection elsewhere in the system.

Only Users with the Super User switch enabled in their user record can view deleted Sub-Types in the table.

Super Users can Restore a deleted Sub-Type by selecting the deleted record in the table and clicking the Restore button located in the top-right corner of the screen. Once restored, the Sub-Type will return to its standard table colour and will again be available for selection throughout the system.
