WebSocket Alerts

WebSocket Alerts are used across multiple areas of the system to help users quickly identify items that require their attention.

Purchasing

Purchasing WebSocket Alerts are linked to the Purchase Orders for Sites where the user is assigned as the Project Surveyor.

When a Purchase Order is created but has not yet been Approved & Sent, the Purchasing Alert counter increases by one for each Purchase Order.

The Alert counter is displayed in the side menu next to Purchasing as a red notification bubble containing a white number. This number indicates how many Purchase Orders are awaiting approval and sending.

Once a Purchase Order has been Approved & Sent, the Alert counter decreases by one for each sent Purchase Order. If there are no outstanding Purchase Orders awaiting approval and sending, the Alert counter will no longer be displayed.

The Alert counter displays a maximum value of 99. If more than 99 Purchase Orders require approval and sending, the counter will continue to display 99 until the number of outstanding Alerts is reduced below this limit.

Consumables

Consumables WebSocket Alerts are linked to the Consumable Orders for Sites where the user is assigned as the Project Surveyor.

When a Consumables Order is created but has not yet been Approved & Sent, the Consumables Alert counter increases by 1 for each Consumables Order.

The Alert counter is displayed in the side menu next to Consumables as a red notification bubble containing a white number. This number indicates how many Consumable Orders are awaiting approval and sending.

Once a Consumables Order has been Approved & Sent, the Alert counter decreases by 1 for each sent Consumables Order. If there are no outstanding Consumables Orders awaiting approval and sending, the Alert counter will no longer be displayed.

The Alert counter displays a maximum value of 99. If more than 99 Consumables Orders require approval and sending, the counter will continue to display 99 until the number of outstanding Alerts is reduced below this limit.

Work Submissions

Work Submissions WebSocket Alerts are linked to the Work Submissions for Sites where the user is assigned as the Project Surveyor.

When a Work Submission is created but has not yet been Accepted or Rejected, the Work Submissions Alert counter increases by 1 for each Pending Work Submission.

The Alert counter is displayed in the side menu next to Work Submissions as a red notification bubble containing a white number. This number indicates how many Work Submissions are awaiting approval or rejection.

Once a Work Submission has been Accepted or Rejected, the Alert counter decreases by 1 for each processed Work Submission. If there are no outstanding Work Submissions awaiting approval or rejection, the Alert counter will no longer be displayed.

The Alert counter displays a maximum value of 99. If more than 99 Work Submissions require approval or rejection, the counter will continue to display 99 until the number of outstanding Alerts is reduced below this limit.

Tasks

Tasks WebSocket Alerts are linked to Tasks assigned to the user that have not yet been Completed.

When a Task is created and assigned to the user but has not yet been Completed, the Tasks Alert counter increases by 1 for each incomplete Task assigned to the user.

The Alert counter is displayed in the side menu next to Tasks as a red notification bubble containing a white number. This number indicates how many Tasks are awaiting completion.

Once a Task has been Completed, the Alert counter decreases by 1 for each completed Task. If there are no outstanding Tasks awaiting completion, the Alert counter will no longer be displayed.

The Alert counter displays a maximum value of 99. If more than 99 Tasks require completion, the counter will continue to display 99 until the number of outstanding Alerts is reduced below this limit.

Variations

Variations WebSocket Alerts are linked to unapproved Variations on Sites where the user is assigned as the Project Surveyor.

When a Variation is created but has not yet been Client Approved, the Variations Alert counter increases by 1 for each unapproved Variation on Sites where the user is the Project Surveyor.

The Alert counter is displayed in the side menu next to Variations as a red notification bubble containing a white number. This number indicates how many Variations are awaiting Client Approval.

Once a Variation has been Client Approved, the Alert counter decreases by 1 for each Client Approved Variation. If there are no outstanding Variations awaiting approval, the Alert counter will no longer be displayed.

The Alert counter displays a maximum value of 99. If more than 99 Variations require approval, the counter will continue to display 99 until the number of outstanding Alerts is reduced below this limit.

Form Review

Form Review WebSocket Alerts are linked to Unreviewed Form Reviews on Sites where the user is assigned as the Project Surveyor.

When a Form Review is created but has not yet been Reviewed, the Form Review Alert counter increases by 1 for each unreviewed Form Review on Sites where the user is the Project Surveyor.

The Alert counter is displayed in the side menu next to Form Review as a red notification bubble containing a white number. This number indicates how many Form Reviews are awaiting to be reviewed.

Once a Form Review has been Reviewed, the Alert counter decreases by 1 for each Reviewed Form Review. If there are no outstanding Form Reviews awaiting to be Reviewed, the Alert counter will no longer be displayed.

The Alert counter displays a maximum value of 99. If more than 99 Form Reviews require reviewing, the counter will continue to display 99 until the number of outstanding Alerts is reduced below this limit.
