Clients Overview
The Clients Overview allows users to filter by specific House Types and Add, Edit, or Delete Materials and Labour items within the Build Stages for the selected House Types.
When users first enter the Overview tab, only the Overview Settings button is displayed. Users must configure and apply their settings before the Overview can return and display results.

Overview Settings
The Overview Settings popup contains three filters that allow users to refine the data displayed in the Overview. These are Type, Show Costs, and Filter.
Each filter is described below:
- Type – The Type dropdown contains two options: Materials and Labour Items. The Overview will display data based on the option selected by the user. When the Materials option is applied the Overview will only return the Client House Type Materials. On the other hand, when the Labour Items option is applied the Overview will only return the Client House Type Labour Items.
- Show Costs – The status of the Show Costs checkbox controls whether Costs are displayed in the Overview for Materials or Labour Items. When this checkbox is deselected, all Cost values are hidden.
- Filter – The Filter is a search field that targets the House Type column. Any results that do not match the search criteria will be greyed out.

To ensure the Overview returns relevant results for the correct House Types, users must enable the desired House Types within the Overview Settings. This is done by selecting the Enabled? checkbox for each House Type that the user wants to include in the Overview.

Once users have finalised their Overview Settings, they can select Save to apply the configuration. The system then updates the Overview and displays the relevant data based on the selected settings.
The Overview displays sub-tabs at the top that users can navigate between. Each sub-tab represents a Build Stage associated with the selected House Types.
There is also a Summary Sheet sub-tab, which provides an overall breakdown of the Costs for each Sub-Type for the selected House Types.
To modify the Overview Settings after they have been applied, users can select the cog icon in the first column of the Overview. The system will reopen the Overview Settings popup, with the previously selected options already pre-populated.

Overview Functionality
The Overview provides functionality to Add, Edit, and Delete Materials and Labour Items across multiple Sub-Types at once for the selected House Types.

By default, the Overview lists the Materials or Labour Items that have already been added to the Sub-Type.
Whilst in read-only mode, the column for the selected House Type displays the current Quantity for each Material or Labour item. Alongside this, the overall Cost for each Material or Labour Item is also shown.
When entering Edit mode within the Overview, the column for the selected House Type still displays the current Quantity for each Material or Labour Item. In addition to this, an editable Quantity field is available, allowing users to modify the value while still viewing the original Quantity for comparison.
As the Quantity is updated, the Cost for the Material or Labour item will automatically adjust to reflect the change.
The table cells are colour coded based on the Positive, Negative, and Difference colours configured within Settings Details. The Positive colour is displayed when the Plot contains an additional item. The Negative colour is displayed when the Plot is missing an item. The Difference colour is displayed when the Plot contains the item, but the Quantity differs from the House Type.

When the Quantity of a Material or Labour Item is changed within the Overview (but not set to 0), the corresponding row will be highlighted in the Difference colour. This indicates that a Quantity change has been applied to that item.

When the Quantity of a Material or Labour Item is changed to 0 within the Overview, the corresponding row will be highlighted in the Negative colour.
Setting the quantity to 0 and saving the Overview will completely remove the Material or Labour item from the relevant Sub-Type. The red highlight is used to indicate that the item is marked for removal.

Users can add new Materials or Labour Items to a Sub-Type by using the search field to locate the relevant item. Matching results will appear in the search dropdown, from which the user can select the desired item and click the ADD button. The system will then add the selected item to the relevant Sub-Type.
Newly added items will be highlighted in the Positive colour, and their Quantity will be set to 0 by default. If the user saves without changing the Quantity from 0, the item will not be added.

Once the quantity is updated from 0, the right hand-side of the row with the Quantity field will also be highlighted in Green. Upon saving, the Material or Labour item will be successfully added to the relevant Sub-Type(s).

Any changes made within the Client Overview will be reflected in the corresponding Materials or Labour sections of the relevant Client House Types and will populate down to Site Master Level House Types.
There is also the possibility for a Sub-Type to be added to a House Type through the Overview. This can occur when multiple House Types are selected in the Overview Settings that share the same Build Stage, but do not have the same Sub-Types.
In these cases, the editable Quantity field is displayed for both House Types. If a user updates the Quantity from 0 for a Material or Labour item associated with a Sub-Type that does not currently exist on the House Type, and then saves the changes, the system will automatically add the Sub-Type to the House Type along with the entered Material or Labour items.
Overview Summary Sheet
The Overview Summary Sheet provides a breakdown of Costs for all Sub-Types that are associated with the selected House Types.
This section contains three columns for each House Type: Materials, Labour Items, and Total.
Each column is described below:
- Materials – This represents the overall Cost of all Materials for each Sub-Type within that House Type.
- Labour Items – This represents the overall Cost of all Labour Items for each Sub-Type within that House Type.
- Total – This represents the overall Cost of all Materials & Labour Items for each Sub-Type within that House Type.
