Property Types

The Property Types section, located under System > General, allows users to create predefined property types. These can then be assigned to a House Type at the Client, Site, or Plot level.

The Property Types area contains a Quick Search which targets both of the columns.

To add a new Property Type select ‘+ New’ in the top right corner.

The system directs the user to the Details page to enter a Code & Description.

To Delete a Property Type select the Delete button in the top right corner. The system will only permit the user to delete the Property Type if it has not been assigned to a House Type.

Deleted Property Types are displayed in red within the table, making them easy to identify. Deleted Property Types are not available for selection elsewhere in the system.

Only Users with the Super User switch enabled in their user record can view deleted Property Types in the table.

Super Users can Restore a deleted Property Type by selecting the deleted record in the table and clicking the Restore button located in the top-right corner of the screen. Once restored, the Property Type will return to its standard table colour and will again be available for selection throughout the system.
