Build Stages
The Build Stages area allows users to create Build Stages that can be assigned to a House Type or Plot.

Build Stages are a section or phase of work where users can assign materials and labour items.
This area contains a Quick Search which targets the Build Stage & Code columns.
To add a new Build Stage, select the ‘+ New’ button in the top right corner.

The system will then direct the user to the Build Stage Details page to enter a Name & Code for the Build Stage.

The Order Position dropdown contains numbers from 1 to 10. Users can select a number to define the position of the build stage within the list.
The Sales Parent dropdown lists all build stages that do not already have an assigned sales parent. A build stage cannot be designated as a sales parent if it already has one assigned to itself. The Cost and Sales Price of a build stage assigned to a sales parent will be included with the parent within the Plots page and the Application.
The Linked Build Stages multiselect lists all available build stages. When an order is created for a build stage that has linked build stages, the system will prompt the user to pre-order materials for those linked stages.
To Delete a Build Stage, enter the Build Stage record and select the Delete button in the top right corner. The system will only permit the user to delete Build Stages that have not been added to a House Type or a Plot.

Deleted Build Stages are displayed in red within the table, making them easy to identify. Deleted Build Stages are not available for selection elsewhere in the system.

Only Users with the Super User switch enabled in their user record can view deleted Build Stages in the table.
Super Users can Restore a deleted Build Stage by selecting the deleted record in the table and clicking the Restore button located in the top-right corner of the screen. Once restored, the Build Stage will return to its standard table colour and will again be available for selection throughout the system.
