Labour Items
The Labour Items area, located in the General section of System,allows users to Add, Edit & Delete Labour Items.

The Labour Items area contains a Quick Search which targets the Item & Code columns.
To add a new Labour Item, select the + New button in the top right corner.

The system directs the user to the Labour Items Details page where the user can enter a Name, Code, Cost & Category for the Labour Item.

The Category dropdown lists all valid non-deleted Build Stages within the system.
Once a Labour Item has been added it will be available for selection within a House Type Build Stage.
Users can update the Cost at any time by opening the Labour Item record and adjusting the value in the Cost field. The updated cost will be reflected throughout the system wherever that labour item is used. However, any Work Submissions created before the cost update will not be affected.
To delete a Labour Item, users must select the Delete button in the top-right corner. The system only allows deletion of labour items that are not in use. If a labour item has been added to a House Type or Plot, the system will prevent its deletion.

Deleted Labour Items will not be available for selection throughout the system.
Deleted Labour Items are displayed in red within the table, making them easy to identify. Deleted Labour Items are not available for selection elsewhere in the system.

Only Users with the Super User switch enabled in their user record can view deleted Labour Items in the table.
Super Users can Restore a deleted Labour Item by selecting the deleted record in the table and clicking the Restore button located in the top-right corner of the screen. Once restored, the Labour Item will return to its standard table colour and will again be available for selection throughout the system.
